Dr Christine Webb grew up in Durban in KZN and then completed her undergraduate degree in Occupational Therapy in 2010 at the University of Pretoria. She completed her one year of community service in Mpumalanga. She then decided that medicine was her true calling and completed her degree in Medicine and Surgery at the University of the Witwatersrand in 2015.
She moved to Cape Town to complete her community service at Khayelitsha Hospital and got married to her husband Fred in 2016. She then completed her community service at Hermanus Hospital in 2018.
She then worked at a provincial community health center in District 6 after which she worked for 2 years as a medical officer in Internal Medicine at Groote Schuur Hospital.
She decided in 2020 to explore the world of private practice and joined The Family Doctor practice in January 2021.
Dr Webb worked in Groote Schuur Hospital where she learnt a great deal and attended regular teaching sessions. She has a special interest in internal medicine and has also attended courses in dermatology and aesthetics which is her other passion.
Dr Webb loves being active and outdoors as well as eating and preparing good food and social gatherings (before COVID that is). She loves to travel and experience different cultures. She would love to be a full-time traveler.
