Dr Marguerite Adriaanse grew up in Potchefstroom, and wanted to be a doctor since she was 3 years old.
She matriculated in 2009 from Potchefstroom Gimnasium, whereafter she went to the University Of The Free State to pursue her vision and dream.
She always had a passion to work with kids. But was too interested in all fields off medicine to focus on one thing.
She completed her Internship at Kalafong Hospital in Pretoria. She also married her husband during this time whom she had met at varsity. She completed her Community Service in Potchefstroom Hospital where she also did her Diploma in Child Health.
After Community Service she started a practice at Medicross Potchefstroom, which she thoroughly enjoyed for two and a half years. Then moved to Cape Town for her husband to Specialise in Anaesthesia.
Ever since they have been living in Cape Town she had beed doing contract work in the department of Paediatrics of both, Tygerberg and Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital. She also worked at the CTICC Hospital of Hope to do her part as front line worker during the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Dr Marguerite Adriaanse keeps up to date attending the latest courses and conferences. She believes that you can never stop learning especially as a doctor and wants to provide the best up to date knowledge and care for all her patients.
She also attends aesthetic courses and completed her Diploma in Child health in 2017.
Outside of Work:
Marguerite loves all sport and sports and is at her happiest when she can be in the water. In her free time she walks her two dogs Hazel (Ridgeback) and Furby (Yorkie) She is family orientated and enjoy spending time with family and friends.
